Q: What is your photography style?

A: Real, natural, and easy. You won’t find any “say cheese” moments with us. We focus on real light and authentic emotions. It’s easy to look happy when you’re celebrating one of the happiest days of your life, and we’re here to capture that naturally.

Q: What are your rates?

A: We offer competitive rates for both weddings and portrait sessions. We understand that every wedding is unique, so we have some wiggle room to create a package that suits your needs. After all, not all weddings are otterly the same (see what we did there?).

Q: How many pictures do we get?

A: Typically, you’ll receive 30-70 photos per hour of coverage, though that number can be higher depending on the day. Portrait sessions come with a few more! Every wedding is different, and we aim to capture all the little details that make your day unique.

Q: Do you travel for weddings?

A: Absolutely, and we love it! Whether it’s a mountain-top ceremony or a beach in Mexico, we’re ready to go. The wedding prices stay the same, but we do factor in travel costs to bring us to you. We’re up for almost anything… except skydiving. We do have our limits! :D

Q: Do you have other photographers for large weddings?

A: Yes! For larger weddings, we’ve got a crew of fellow otters to assist us. They help with lighting, set-up, and capturing all the moments we might not be able to cover on our own. This ensures that every part of your day gets the attention it deserves.

Q: How long does it take to get our pictures?

A: You’ll receive an online wedding teaser gallery within a week of your big day, and your full gallery will be ready 2-3 weeks after that. For portrait sessions, it typically takes less than a week..

Q: What’s something unique about you?

A: We think we’re pretty hilarious—well, Alex does at least. We’ve got two fur-babies, Lana (our Shiba Inu) and Loki (our polydactyl kitten), and yes, our first human kid will definitely have an L-name too! We love visiting dog parks and hiking, so if you’re up for some adventurous photo ops, we’re your team!

Q: Do you take Family and Group Pictures?

A: Of course! We know how important those family shots are. If there are specific photos you or your family need, we’ll prioritize them and keep a list handy throughout the day to make sure none are missed.

Q: Do we get any physical products, or is it all digital?

A: You’ll receive a handmade wooden box with a drive containing all your wedding images, plus a few little surprises. We believe in creating keepsakes that you’ll cherish forever (and yes, we’ve hugged a lot of couples over the years!).

Q: How long have you been in business? How many weddings have you photographed?

A: We’ve been capturing weddings for over five years and have photographed more than 200 weddings. And to be honest, we still get excited and a little nervous before each one—it’s what makes every wedding special to us!

Q: Do you guys just photograph weddings?

Weddings are our main focus, but we also stick to our roots in photojournalism. Occasionally, you’ll see Alex’s work published in newspapers or online. It’s a nice way to balance the love stories with real-world stories.

If you have more questions, we’re just an email away. Let’s chat and start planning how we can capture your special day!
